About the authors
Elroy Spoonface Powell (Spoon), the voice behind club anthem Hey Girl, had his first taste of international recording success as part of the EDM group Black Legend. Their reworking of the Barry White classic You See The Trouble with Me reached No. 1 in the UK and sold over a million copies worldwide.
Spoon is now an actor and leading voice-over artist. He has appeared in Stephen Merchant and Dwayne The Rock Johnson film Fighting With My Family, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Jingle Jangle, Pirates,
plus a number of campaigns for high-end brands.

Yukiko Fujimura is a Japanese voiceover artist with over 20 years of experience. She started her career as an anchor for a TV station, and has hosted many TV programs. After giving birth to her daughter, she began her career as a voiceover talent. Yukiko helps companies that want to expand their business in Japan to attract and connect with their customers by a voice that captures the hearts of Japanese people. Many companies including Google, Amazon, PRADA, Tesla, IBM, and Microsoft chose her voice to increase their brand awareness and sales in Japan,
Yukiko won the Best Voice Artist at Asian Academy Creative Awards in 2022 as the first Japanese to win the category. She was also nominated for SOVAS Voice Arts Awards, One Voice Awards USA for the international category. Yukiko also won the Audience Favorite at CastVoices Soundbyte Contest.
Yukiko is the founder of Voiceover Japan, the first online school for Japanese voiceover artists who want to work in the international markets. She has taught over 250 voice talents and received many feedback from her students who say that her lessons have changed their lives. Yukiko also founded Voiceover Japan Awards in 2022, which is Japan's first awards for voiceover artists aiming for overseas markets.
In addition to being a voiceover artist, Yukiko has served as a bilingual host/emcee for many international receptions including G7 summit Ministerial Meeting, World Economic Forum Japan Night, UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction.
Julie-Ann is a voice actor and co-founder of Scripts Out Loud, she began her career as a voice actor at the age of 16, dubbing the children’s programme The Little Vampire for the BBC.
With decades of experience working in children’s TV, Julie-Ann has hundreds of credits to her name. Some highlights include Paw Patrol, Toby’s Travelling Circus and BabyRiki.
In recent years she has won a Voice Arts Award in Hollywood for her performance in a VR video game and is enjoying working on some popular video games and several children’s animations for Cbeebies, YouTube and Netflix.

He’s worked as a producer in the voiceover industry for over 20 years, and these days his work covers audio production, studio consultation (acoustic tweaking and hardware), showreel production, software and production techniques training, a little bit of freelancing in voiceover studios and the legendary Studio Tickling Tours.
He’s also been the studio mentor for Gravy For The Brain for over 5 years and has presented dozens of webinars and helped hundreds of voiceovers improve or troubleshoot their studios over that time.

An Economics major, a career in finance, a trainer singer and teacher and now working as a voice in audiobooks and corporate narration, Ana is known for her characterisation and use of accents.
As the founding member of the Audiobooks Club on Clubhouse, with 9,000 members and counting, Ana leads weekly sessions there. She speaks live and in interviews on audiobook production and coaches those within the creative industry to find their place and sing out their virtues - "Ana helps others reach a point of clarity on who they are as a creative professional ... with actionable direction."
Ana is working on her next manuscript and is looking forward to joining the ranks of authors with a book due out this year.
Ally Murphy is a multi award winning British voice over artist and actor. Based in Seattle, WA.
Liz Drury is a freelance voiceover artist based in North Lincolnshire and working from a broadcast quality home studio for clients around the world. She started her business from a wardrobe in the USA, and now works across several voiceover genres including commercials, corporate narration, explainer videos, telephony, and audio tours, but in recent years she has been most in demand to narrate e-learning modules for online courses.
Some of the well-known companies and institutions that have used Liz’s voice include Hilton, JCB, Booking dot com, Bulgari, Nestlé, Danone, Barnados and the Church of England.
Liz is also the host of the ‘Small Business Big Network’ podcast which climbed to number 5 in the Apple charts for marketing podcasts. This podcast is for small business owners who want to get more from their networking and has been running weekly since the beginning of 2021.
In 2017 Liz Drury Voiceovers was named as one of the ‘Small Business 100’ by the team behind Small Business Saturday. This led to an invitation to 10 Downing Street and plenty of press interest!

Isi 'the Scribe' Adeola is an award winning voiceover artist, performance poet, zoologist and content creator.
He has been writing and performing poetry since 2006 and has performed at the Dominion Theatre, the Allphones Arena in Sydney, many times at the O2 Arena and Madison Square Garden, NYC.
Most recently he appeared on ‘BBC Autumnwatch’, marking his debut as a TV wildlife presenter and picked up the award for ‘Best Male Performance in a TV Documentary’
