    What a wonderful story this is! Although it is book 2 in the series, you don't have to read the first book to know what is happening with this one. You can jump right into this book! Both main characters have a heavy load of sorrow to wade through, but this is far from a sad book! It is one of hope and overcoming the past. I found it joyful and hopeful that whatever is in your past, you can overcome and move forward in your life to find joy & peace. Linn had a bad first marriage and doesn't plan on doing that again! However, she hasn't closed the door completely! When she meets Heath and his precocious 10-year-old daughter, she feels a slight spark but immediately tries to distinguish it and focus on her baking at the local apple farm store. This is her chance to start her life over and do something she has always wanted to do. Heath lost his wife to cancer a few years ago and he has moved with his daughter, who is a huge handful, to a new town. Evie definitely took a lot of his time, and he didn't know what to do with her, but he had to focus on his new job. He sees Linn but assumes she's his boss' wife! I loved all the characters involved in the town and how they helped the main characters overcome their sadness and their pasts. This was a great story!
    I received a copy of this book from the author but wasn't obligated to review. These are my thoughts and opinions.

    Like coming back to your happy sweet place, that's how I will describe this book, with the added bonus of a beautiful written love story.
    With her descriptions of Port Chance and her inhabitants, D.E. Malone makes you feel you are part of the story.
    I loved Linn since book one of the series so I was very happy to hear that this book is about her, her history, and her second chance in life and in love. You can feel the sparkles flying between her and Heath thru the pages of the book.
    This is a story of hope, letting go of your past and giving the opportunity of move forward towards happiness with unexpected people and with unexpected circumstances, and learning that there will always be people around you who will help you, accept you and accept you for who you are.
    I enjoyed reading this book a lot and can't wait to read the next book on this sweet series.

    Apple Blossom Dreams is a book about healing, finding hope and happiness and starting over.

    Linn moved to the small town of Port Chance to heal after ending her unhappy marriage. She has found her niche managing the bakery at Apple Hill Orchard. She is not looking for romance. She loves baking and devotes all her time to creating new recipes.

    Heath, the new manager for Apple Hill Orchard, moved to Port Chance for a new start after losing his wife to cancer. He is grieving. He had a good, strong marriage and he isn’t looking for a new relationship. He is a single dad raising a precocious 10 year old daughter, Evie, who is having trouble adjusting to life without her mother. She is becoming a loner, finding it difficult to make friends. Heath doesn’t know how to get through to her. She doesn’t share her feelings with anyone.

    Apple Blossom Dreams is the second book in the Port Chance series, but it can be read as a stand alone. If you love sweet, clean small town second chance romance stories you will enjoy Apple Blossom Dreams.

    I love D.E. Malone's new, charming Port Chance Series. Book two in the series, "Apple Blossom Dreams," is set in a busy apple orchard, with some scenes taking place in the quaint town of Port Chance, Iowa. What a lovely setting for a blossoming romance!

    I fell in love with the Apple Hill Orchard's manager, Heath, and the orchard's baker, Linn, from the start, not to mention Heath's daughter, who could be a handful. Between Heath losing his wife a few years ago and Linn recovering from a failed marriage, they both have pasts to put behind them before they can move forward as a couple. Will they succeed and find true love, or are they just dreaming? Visit Port Chance for a bakery fresh taste of smalltown romance.

    I found this book to be written brilliantly, with wonderful characters, Linn, a divorcee and Heath, a single dad to Evie who is 10 years old and a widow.

    Both have arrived in Port Chance for a second chance and to put the past behind them. The chemistry between the two started the first time Heath set his eyes on Linn, thinking she was his boss's wife.

    I enjoyed reading Apple Blossom Dreams I thought it was a sensational read. This book completely captured my attention from start to finish. I highly recommend it to all, and I am looking forward to reading the next in the series.

    What a sweet romance novel.
    Sometimes it's wonderful to get a second chance at love and marriage.
    Linn runs the Bakery at the Orchard. She is divorced from a man who put her down or ignored her and their marriage vows.
    Heath is the new Orchard manager. He and his daughter, Evie, are starting over after they lost his wife to cancer.
    Neither Linn nor Heath are looking for anything. They meet when Evie steals a donut on their first day at the orchard.
    Linn sees herself in Evie. She wants to try to be a sort of mentor for her. She invites Evie to come and help her in the bakery.
    Linn and Heath are drawn to each other with each encounter.
    Definitely a feel good story.

    D.E Malone truly captured what life in a small town is like. You can practically feel the sunshine through the pages and taste the delicious sweets. This beautiful story is a must read that will leave you wanting to move to a small town and daydream your days away. D.E. Malone puts so much love into her books and Apple Blossom Dreams is blooming with it. So head on out to a porch swing or blanket outside and enjoy this lovely story.
