    Rafa and Lexie are powerful and loving, she doesn't let him bully or push her around but she also loves him in the way he needs. Rafa knows he has feelings for her but wasn't sure if it was love until the threat of losing her the last time hit home.
    They took down the final players in the sex trafficking ring and it seems everyone's analogies about Marco was spot on. It's sad Valentina had to endure all of his cruelty but in the end she had closure.
    I loved the ending and especially both epilogues. It was very fitting.

They grow so close and work so well together as they navigate their attraction and relationship. Lexie and Rafael are working to take down the trafficking ring and uncovering the mystery behind Rafael's mother. I could not get enough of Lexie and Rafael. I love them together so much as they fight every step of the way. I love all the twist and turns with this one. Rafael and Lexie are everything. You need to meet them today.

    This book has triggers. Some parts were hard to read. I enjoyed this book and the whole series. Lexie told her best friend things that she knew she shouldn’t. Rafael was very cruel to her for telling her best friend what was going on. But what she did was not her’s to tell. Their characters develop was very good. Love prevailed in the end. Great book!!!!

    The Sinful Empire has come to an end with Wrath, which is the end of Rafael and Lexie's story. I really enjoyed the storyline of Wrath and how it wrapped up some previous story arcs. Those two ending epilogues were delicious icing on the cake of an excellent duet inside this 5-book series.

    Rafael has always held a special place in my heart and author Eva Charles did him justice. He is still the "good man" we want him to be. He has a beautiful soul, honorable and loyal, and of course, the strong and independent Angel on his arm brings out all his best qualities.

    Lexie is the perfect match for Rafael. Once she gains her confidence, she learns to stand her ground, not to compromise on her beliefs, and to never accept anything less from Rafael. Once she learns to stop running, they become a powerful team.

    This series has some very strong female characters who all take their own place in a male-dominated world. They are the voice of reason and bring their men into the modern world. The men are also strong, possessive, and overly protective. All great traits for book heroes who linger in your mind long after you've finished reading. Rafael is particularly hot and sexy, and his very dirty mouth makes the panties melt straight off Lexie, and quite likely off a few readers as well.

    I really enjoyed this series overall and would give it 5 stars, but I only gave Wrath 4 stars. I believe this is because I didn't feel the intensity of the storyline until the last quarter of the book, which wss a long time to wait. The first part had some excitement, but I expected to see more action from the human traffickers in Wrath than what we did. There just wasn't as much action as I expected, and when the final plan came to fruition, I honestly expected that Rafael would experience some of his worst fears. Everything just went a little too smoothly for my liking. I suppose I was looking for a little more angst in the end.

    Rafael and Lexie have to work through their own hells but the steam still is epic.
