    This book was absolutely perfect. I loved Camden and Shiloh’s story, but getting to read through the beginning of their love story was just *chef’s kiss*. This whole series is just amazing and this novella just makes it so much more incredible.

    There’s simply no protection for the love you’ll feel for this book! Story 5/5 book 📕 Heat 5/5❤️‍🔥

    Just when I thought Jade Dollston couldn’t put more into characters and bring mystery and joy to the front, I stand corrected. Disgruntled Protector is yet another outstanding 5 ⭐️read that has an inspiring storyline and heat that will have you fanning your face! Taz and Woody are everything; (Anna and Mario are equally everything!) I won’t be giving a blow-by-blow description of this book because I always believe books need to be read and critiques can get too close to sharing an entire story giving the reader little to look forward to. That said, if you read the first few 5⭐️reads, you’ll know to expect great writing and a HEA that will warm your heart. And aside from the mystery within, I live for the text messages that appear between all our fabulous protective hunks on the Security team! I often doubled over in laughter! The banter is top notch and mixes well with the main storyline.

    This is my 5th Dollston read. I begged to be an ARC reader because I love her writing so much! Further, make sure you read her “I Dream of Johnny” 🧞‍♀️ because it is an escape like no other! Now I’m itching to read all the rest as they come out in 2024! You will not be disappointed! Get at it!

    This is just the sweetest, sexiest, most loving intro to Cam and Shiloh amazing story from Deadly Protector. What a gift to us readers for Dollston to write this novella as we learn about their origins.
    Cam is a swoony, swoony man. Shiloh has a less than ideal home life, and Cam does everything to ease her burdens. Camden Fitz is just so...
    We bear witness as their relationship grows and blossoms into something truly special. Knowing the battles they face a head breaks my heart, but knowing they eventually get their HEA makes it all okay.
    As always, Dollston writes in a way that you feel like you're a fly on the wall, experiencing every single emotion with her characters (it's hard to call them characters because I feel like they're real and I know them - that's how good Dollston's writing is).
    You can read this either before or after Deadly Protector. Just read them both. Read everything she writes. She's the best!!

    Obviously their relationship is "FIRE" when they are around each other.

    Reading this made me fall in love with Cam all over again, seeing where the two started made my heart melt. From the beginning of their relationship, Cam always trying to help Shy with anything and everything. Cam taking up for her in situations. Shy meeting Graham for the first time, my heart did flutters for that boy. I hope we see more of him in the series somehow.

    The brotherly banter made me laugh so much. Cam and Shy's moments on the farm, just made you weak in the knees because its utterly sweetness. Lets not even talk about Christmas, the last present he gave her <3 . Where was Cam when i was in high school.

    Jade, i love your writing. I cant wait to see what next.

    Absolutely loved getting a look back at the beginning of Cam & Shiloh’s relationship. Cam was always super protective of Shiloh and had the most amazing heart. Sweet, nerdy Shiloh overcame some of her emotional trauma with the help of Cam’s love. Such a sweet story!!

    This was such a beautifully written novella that deals with the early days of Cam and Shilohs blossoming relationship. Reading about their love for each explains how, despite the misunderstandings 😪, they felt so comfortable with each other and allowed their love to blossom later 💕
