    If I could read this again for the first time, I would. I loved it from start to finish. If dark, slightly deranged, hates everyone but her is your vibe, then go read it. It's worth the hype.

    Roman is taking top book BF for now. And I don't think anyone has the balls to take him out. I'm just saying.

    Also, this cover makes me so happy.

    By no fault of the author this book was not up to quality when printed. The first one I got was perfect except for the spine was damaged, it could have happened during shipping but who knows. I submitted a claim and was sent a new one at no cost and got to keep the damaged on. The second one came but the pages were so faded you could barely see the pictures. But the spine wasn't damaged. So I am keeping the first copy because even though it had creases on the spine the black pages were perfect and I can see the pictures clearly. The second copy will be given to someone.

    I had already read this book and enjoyed it, but once I saw the black pages I needed the trophy for my bookshelf. I actually had to get a replacement since the first book arrived slightly damaged, Amazon sent me a new copy right away though which arrived in perfect condition.

    The book it's self is absolutely gorgeous, with artwork and black pages throughout, but I loved the story as well. Despite being a dark romance, the MMC gives off golden retriever vibes, which surprisingly works very well.

    First of all, this edition is absolutely stunning with beautiful character art but the story is just as good!

    Roman and Isabella hold on to eachother to survive their tragic childhood. Roman takes care of her from the first moment they met at ages 6 and 8. He keeps her save, fed and does her hair (!). They become everything to eachother till Roman suddenly disappears for three years.

    Well it's Avina so I knew I would love it! It's such a sweet story despite al the trauma. The way Roman is completly soft, but only for Bella! And I don't care if the FMC is a virgin or not but when the MMC is a virgin it's a different story entirely! A man waiting for his girl to be intimate? Hot as Hell! Does that mean I have a virgin kink?
    Maybe, probably, I might as well add it to my long list of unlocked kinks

    I do have to be honest! Bella was really selfish and annoyed the shit out of me during the middle part. Sure it's a lot to take in, but you've had him by your side doing everything for you for fourteen years and you can't get over three years? Three involuntary years btw! Instead of feeling sorry for herself she should've tried harder to find him!

    Thankfully she realizes this herself towards the end and turns everything around. The Disney scene and the ending were perfect. They really got the lives they deserved.
