Elissa Savage is an author from Melbourne, Australia. She is a practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Positive Psychology, Hypnotherapy, and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), as well as a Reiki Master, Vocal Health First Aider, and Vocal Wellness Coach. Elissa began her kidlit journey with an Honours Degree in Children’s Literature. With a background in writing (fiction, non-fiction, copywriting), music (singing and songwriting), fitness, and art, Elissa has lived experience and a wide range of interests that inspire her work.
When she is not singing and dancing with preschoolers for a very fun living, you'll find Elissa hanging out with her husband, two teenagers, whacky staffy, and wheeking guinea pigs.
With a passion for holistic wellbeing, neurodiversity, and the power of storytelling to light up young minds, Elissa is fuelled by the magic of books. They engage, entertain, and inspire children and grownups alike. Being part of that world is Elissa's happy place.
Filled with ideas, Elissa has a huge project list that includes more picture books, a middle-grade fiction series, a young adult fantasy trilogy, and a non-fiction book, with several books in production for 2025.
